Hi, I’m Dr. Jane Guyn, a sex and intimacy coach with over a decade of experience. I’ve helped countless individuals and couples move through challenges using my research-based coaching model.
But there were always those cases where we needed something more.
When the source of the struggle was hidden beneath the surface, we couldn’t talk our way through it.
That’s why I became a certified hypnotist, so I could help my clients reach those deeper places in a way that’s gentle, safe, and truly transformative.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No. You are fully aware and in control the entire time. Hypnosis is simply a relaxed state where your subconscious mind is more open to positive, helpful suggestions.
Can everyone be hypnotized?
Yes. As long as you're able to hear me, we speak the same language you're not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and you're willing to be hypnotized, it absolutely works. You don't have to be "good at it" or able to stay perfectly still.
How quickly will I see results?
While some people feel shifts right away, lasting transformation typically happens over 5-6 sessions, combined with self-hypnosis practices.
What does it feel like?
It feels like you're deeply relaxed, but still aware. Most people describe it as somewhere between being awake and asleep — like that soft space right before you drift off.
Will I relive traumatic experiences?
Not usually. Hypnosis often guides you to the learning you need without reliving the event. You stay in control the entire time, and your mind takes you where it's safe and useful.
What happens during the session?
We begin with a short check-in and intention setting. You'll write down three ways you want to feel afterward, and then we move into the hypnosis portion. Each session is customized to what you're working through.
What if I don't "go under"?
That's okay! Hypnosis doesn't mean you're unconscious. You'll still hear everything and remember it, but your subconscious is doing the deep work.
